Can We Be More Blessed?

2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
Today, I will give you the bottom line first. We who are born again believers are blessed. Period. If you cannot think of a reason to be grateful today, my brothers & sisters, then let me give you three. 1) the grace of Jesus. Oh what we have gained because of God's grace! Forgiveness of sin. Eternal life. Patience toward us. Second (and third, and fourth) chances at getting Christian living right. That's just a short list. 2) God's love. Not just a love that was expressed in word, but a love of action (what we call agape love). A love that sent our Savior, Jesus, to die in our place, to pay for our sins, so that we can have eternal life, and be reconciled in our relationship with our Heavenly Father. 3) Fellowship with the Holy Spirit; the Spirit that indwells us, is always with us, teaches us, guides us, and never leaves us alone. It does not matter where we are in our walk today, He wants us to stay intimately close. If you do not know Jesus personally, and have not called upon Him, the Bible tells us that today is the day of salvation, as we do not know if we'll even be here tomorrow. So, call on Him, ask Him to forgive you of your sins, and ask Him to give you eternal life, and change you. Put your complete faith in Him, and what He did, as you can do nothing to earn your way into Heaven. For us who already know Him, today is the day to get right with Him. Repent, and confess any, and all, sin that may be hindering fellowship with Him. For we know that we can both, hinder, and grieve, the Holy Spirit in our life if we live, and behave, as the world does. We have the grace, and love, of God. We can start anew today, and walk with an amazing God who wants to walk with us. Imagine that...
