Our Mission Field

Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Our mission field is anywhere God places us. Our jobs, social circles, and anywhere else our two feet land. We are called to preach the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). Our circle of influence amongst our family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and the people we encounter in our everyday life, is our mission field. That is where God has placed us, and expects us to carry His message. We must not only speak the Gospel, we must also live it. When was the last time any of us took the time to tell someone about Jesus? How much effort do we put into looking for opportunities to share what Christ has done to purchase eternal life for us and this dying world? More importantly, will we make the effort today?

Today, God extends an invitation to you to accept His free gift of salvation (Rom 6:23). Will you accept it? Anyone who calls on Jesus, by faith, in repentance, confessing your sins, will receive eternal life. Do not put off calling on Him, and receive Him and His free gift of salvation today (Rom 10:13).
