Isaiah 14:27 "For the Lord of hosts has purposed, And who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, And who will turn it back?”
Isaiah 14 tells us that what God has purposed will stand. What He has thought, shall come to pass. The Prophet asks, "Who will annul it?" The fact is that whatever plan God has for us will not be changed by anyone, including us. We may take a detour here and there, in our attempts to use our own earthly wisdom in living out God's plan, but that does not hinder God from accomplishing His will and plan for our lives. If we know Jesus as Savior and Lord, then God's perfect plan for us is already in motion. We can walk confidently, knowing it is Jesus' perfection, not our imperfections, that will help us finish our race.
Today, God extends an invitation to you to accept His free gift of salvation (Rom 6:23). Will you accept it? Anyone who calls on Jesus, by faith, in repentance, confessing your sins, will receive eternal life. Do not put off calling on Him, and receive Him and His free gift of salvation today (Rom 10:13).
