Psalms 96:8-9 Give to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering, and come into His courts. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth.
The beauty of our God is second to none. There is no one like Him, and there is none who can match His power, might, or majesty. Not a single god can stand against Him, and the devils tremble at the mention of His Name...Jesus. Yet, far too many people turn from the majesty, beauty and power of the God who gave us His only begotten Son, to worship gods who are deaf, dumb, blind, and dead. We have made people and material things our gods. We have allowed the ugliness of the world around us to blind us to the beauty of our God, and who He is. Today, let us stop and truly consider who it is that we serve. Let us glorify Him in how we worship Him with our lives. Let us worship Him in spirit and in truth. Let us consecrate our lives, being separated from this world and its ways; and worship Him as a royal priesthood of believers, separated unto Him. Our God is holy, and we are able to worship Him regardless of where we are, or what is happening around us. Let the beauty of His holiness be what surrounds us as we worship Him with all that is in us; bringing the greatest offering that we can lay on the altar...ourselves as living sacrifices, in Christ Jesus. Today, and every day, we must give unto the Lord the glory due unto His Name.
Today, God extends an invitation to you to accept His free gift of salvation (Rom 7:23). Will you accept it? Anyone who calls on Jesus, by faith, in repentance, confessing your sins, will receive eternal life. Do not put off calling on Him, and receive His free gift of salvation today (Rom 10:13).
