Psalms 67:5 Let the peoples praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise You.
Today I simply want to remind us all that we serve a God who deserves our praise. Stop and take time today to count our blessings. It does not matter what is going on in our life this very moment. Whatever our circumstances may be today, let us see them in light of our blessings. Let us begin with the single most wonderful blessing any one of us can have...eternal life in Jesus. Do we know Him as Savior? If the answer is "yes", then we are already blessed beyond what we deserve. Anything at all that is added to our life beyond our salvation is praiseworthy. Sadly, what I have observed amongst us believers is that we can easily come up with a laundry list of requests, for God, when we pray; yet, when it comes to praising Him, we struggle to recount our blessings. Although I praise God constantly, I have made it a habit to take one day (although none of us are restricted to just one) to simply praise Him. That is a day when no requests are made, only praises. Even if the day goes sideways, I take that as an opportunity to praise Him for the solution that is coming, and trust Him for the outcome. What a difference a day of praise makes! As Bible-believing, born again followers of Jesus, we have a reason...no...many reasons to praise God, every single day. So today I say, "Praise Him! Praise Him!"
Today, God extends an invitation to you to accept His free gift of salvation (Rom 6:23). Will you accept it? Anyone who calls on Jesus, by faith, in repentance, confessing your sins, will receive eternal life. Do not put off calling on Him, and receive Him and His free gift of salvation today (Rom 10:13).
