Phillipians 4:6-8 says,
"Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing, fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise".
I love how God knows we will have anxieties and addresses them with us! He wants us to bring them to Him in prayer and supplication (asking for something humbly) and He will give us the peace that surpasses all understanding. But while we bring all our anxieties to Him, He wants us to fill our minds on the things that are good-things that are true(His Word), and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. So by giving Him our anxieties, receiving His peace, and redirecting our minds to positive things...our anxieties decrease, our faith grows and we please the Lord π
Today, God extends an invitation to you to accept His free gift of salvation (Romans 6:23). Will you accept it? Anyone who calls on Jesus, by faith, in repentance, confessing their sins, will receive eternal life. Do not put off calling on Him, and receive Him and His free gift of salvation today (Romans 10:13).
